  • It's a greenway - a place to walk with some nature involved in the middle of a city. So I'm not ever going to give it less than three stars. But it's definitely not my favorite place to walk. For a "green"way, it's a little heavy on the concrete side, wedged in between hospitals and roads and other buildings. It's also very busy with runners, so when I tried to relaxedly wander along the creek, I had to get out of the way literally every 30-60 seconds. It's nice that it connects to Freedom Park, where you can park your car, play some tennis or basketball and explore the park area, but I think I'd much sooner go to one of the many other greenways of Charlotte.
