This was the worst experience I've ever had at a Lowe's (which I generally prefer over Home Depot). I wanted to buy a gas grill and another item and went to the Outdoor Dept but there was no one there to answer questions or assist me. I pushed the "service" button at the desk and waited at least 15 minutes (maybe more) while the in-store announcement for assistance kept playing over and over. Another fellow was waiting too. No one ever came.
As I was leaving the store I decided to stop at the Customer Service desk to alert the manager but there was a line of people there so as I walked out I told a cashier and asked her "don't you people want to sell anything?" She looked at me dumbfounded as if to say "so what do you want me to do about it?" An appropriate response would have been "please wait here for just a minute and I'll page the manager to come to my register immediately." But her non-response went right along with the non-help I received in the Outdoor Dept.
Major failure. Staff needs to be trained.
