Came here for a quick lunch and pretty certain will not go back. We arrived around 12:30 and the first thing we noticed was how empty it was.
We chose a seat near the back and our server showed up soon after. The menu was typical bar fare yet ranged from $8-14 a plate, rather steep. Since there for lunch, we didn't peruse the beer/drink menu.
The problem started after we ordered and after 15 minutes, our server stated the computers were having issues and our food was just recently given to the kitchen. 10 minutes later, he came back, apologized and stated will be a few more minutes. He offered a free app coupon on our next visit. I said we are not sure about a next visit and would like something done about this one.
Another 10 minutes we got our food and had it boxed since we were there already almost an hour. The manager also apologized and said our server was new and did not mention the computer issues. We had a feeling honesty was not that day's special.
The manager did state she would compensate us with a discount yet that turned out to be 10% off. Not a bad gesture yet since the discount totaled little more than a buck, not much of a gesture.
When we got home, our chicken dish consisted of two small breaded fillets and some watery coleslaw. Our chili fries consisted of not very fresh fries and canned chili on top of processed cheese slices.
This place is very close to our home and it's a shame it was not a great experience since a neighbor bar is a nice thing to have.
