Very lousy service.
All I needed was to replace a Die Hard battery which was purchased less than two years ago ( this battery was plainly DEAD - WITHIN the warranty time covered by their very "famous" Sears DieHard batteries. INSTEAD TWICE, they acted like I did not buy the battery at Sears and wanted to charge me, full price for the replacement battery. And twice I showed proof, the original purchase receipt with the warranty IN WRITING.
And then, as I am not a major paying customer, nor requiring a big purchase or serious work done to my car other than a simple replacement of battery - they keep putting me off. The one guy, working in the front desk was trying to up-sell every customer in front of me and even try to sell the people behind.
I Waited almost an hour on line just to pick up the car, as this one salesman / customer service guy was so busy pitching the latest promo and special discounts. ( First of all, they should have more than one employee working the line. Secondly he should not be annoying everybody else with his sales pitch when there is a line. )
This is very disappointing service coming from a once glorious merchandising powerhouse - Sears. Sears image and service has gone to hell.
