  • I've had the pleasure of staying on many 'club level' floors in the past several years. Hotel32, at it's peak circa 2012/13, was tops, and my experience there (at that specific time) is what I typically compare other clubs lounges to. So, firstly - This lounge is EXTREMELY expensive, for nothing that special. They told us if we wanted to bring in a guest, we could. Great!! ...For the small cost of $75 per person. Zoinks!! NO lounge is worth that price, imo. Although, I don't consume alcohol, so that benefit is lost on me. I DO however LOOOOVE food, so that is where most of my review comes into play. We stayed in a suite on the 24th floor, and the lounge is on the 23rd floor. That's a downside to me. At Hotel32, the lounge is right on the same floor as the rooms, so that was awesome to just walk by on your way to your suite to grab soda or fruit or whatever else. Since Palazzo is far larger than Hotel32, we had quite a hike just to get to the elevators on our floor, let alone to the lounge. Oh well, we could use the walk. The lounge is guarded by several pleasant employees, and you need a key-card to unlock the door to enter. That makes sense, since they don't want stragglers sneaking in without paying. The lounge is huge, the size of a large restaurant. Seating everywhere, for everyone! It's swanky and elegantly decorated, with a large bar to boot. The food options are... okay. They are typical airplane style, pint sized, reheated snacks for the most part. They serve a 'breakfast' in the morning for a few hours (scrambled 'eggs', bacon, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, pastries, coffee, juice, bagels), and then once that food is gone, they put out pretzels, jelly bellies, and m&ms. That's the 'lunch.' LOL! At around 5pm or so, they start the evening procession of drinks and afternoon snacks, like beef kebabs, rolls, fruit, pastries, etc. The food wasn't bad or anything, but if you're looking for gourmet, that is NOT what you'll find here. Is it worth the $75 bucks per person if you're not going to pre-game with alcohol? No way. Not in my opinion, anyway. For those who may be interested, there is a live pianist who plays in the evenings on Friday/Saturday. Possibly Sundays, too, but we left before that. All in all, since lounge options are fairly limited, it is lovely. If you've got the money to spend, then I recommend you take part. If you're pinching pennies and looking to really get your money's worth, then don't spend it here. There are better investments in your case. ;) As far as club floors/lounge levels go - I really don't recommend picking up that extra tab these days. As the person checking us into Palazzo stated, ALL the hotels have been cutting their amenities and reducing what you get while increasing the prices. Such a bummer, especially when you've witnessed the decline before your very eyes. Don't be bamboozled!
