What a difference a year makes. Not sure what happened here, but I am updating my previous 5-star review to a 3-star. The menu changed a bit, and favorites like the lamb meatballs were taken off. Most upsetting were the wings. They didn't look as good and they certainly didn't taste as good. No longer did the wings have the crispier skin or the delicious sauce. The new sauce tastes like there is a hint of cinnamon in it (gross) and more salt then someone would need to consume for a month. The skin was also mushy/fatty. My husband got the new duck confit reuben (meant to replace the lamb meatball sandwich) and it was a throw away. It wasn't good and it wasn't bad. It was substance. No one goes out and pays $13 for a small sandwich as mere substance (that's what bananas are for!).
Dear Public House - if this is because you fired the old chef/kitchen crew - then you need to bring them. If it's the same crew - then it's time to kick cans!!
