I'm a sucker for a good tiki bar and Frankie's is one oldest names in the game here. It's a small place with a great vibe which makes you totally forget you're knocking back cocktails in the desert. They've done a great job in creating a pacific island ambiance despite being in the middle of Vegas. The decor and atmosphere reminded me if a smaller version of another famous tiki bar, Three Dots and a Dash in Chicago.
The bartenders know what they are doing but be careful as these drinks pack a punch. I always order a 5 skull drink rating and my go to is the Zombie and the Fink Bomb, The drinks definitely creep up on you and if you can put down two of these, you better call an Uber. Frankie's doesn't skip on the presentation either. Complete with flowers and fruit garnishes, the drinks look as good as they taste.
A few important tips:
Frankie's is a small bar, make sure to come early to ensure your party gets a table.
Parking is even tighter; less than 20 spots, so carpooling is probably a good idea.
Unlike some other Tiki Bars the drinks here are served in standard bar glasses, if you want one of the cool Tiki mugs you have to buy em (~$20).
