| - If you are looking for a an attorney to be on your side and attempt to help, don't bother with this one. The predatory property management corporation that took over management of a home I had rented for three years with no problems charges $125 late rent fees even if their technology failures are what causes the rent to be late. "I don't know these people," she says. Well, I know what I've gone through with them, and despite the documentation I supplied, she definitely came across as doubting my word. I'm not suing anyone. I just want to find out how I can make sure my rent gets paid. Her response was, "Yeah, well." She strikes me as being on corporate's side. What's the point when the attorney doubts your word and complains about the amount of documentation you provide being too lengthy? "No company will guarantee that technology will work." Yeah, I get that. But I think they SHOULD guarantee that if their technology leads to late payments, THEY should take responsibility for their own choices. Face it. We are ALL screwed in this country. Don't turn to this attorney for help or even kindness. Her administrative assistant is GREAT. But the attorney herself just appears to join the corporate chorus of "Bend over, consumers, and pay us for the pain." I don't know about wills and so forth. I had planned to use her for that, but I'll either find someone who at least doesn't appear to side with the opponent or die intestate. I have no family, so who cares?
