Tired and institutional. Cool in the 1970s. Very poor noise control - lots of noise from hallways and ventilation shafts. Sounded like freight trains being coupled on the floor above.
Surprisingly, lots of staff. They moved crowds through registration very well. Rooms were clean and well appointed but small and ho-hum.
Fitness centre had lots of machines but it was located right on the pool deck by the hot tub! Workout area was hot and humid at 6:30 a.m. in February. Must be deadly at high noon in July.
Location is good -- especially for access to Eaton Centre and Yonge Street theatres -- but I can't imagine saving 20 bucks on cab fare to the theatre and paying for it with a bad night's sleep.
