We stayed at the hotel on New Year's Eve. We were comped to a suite--a large sitting room, relatively small bedroom, and a tiny washroom. We had a drink in a bar and the bill did not reach the front desk by morning checkout. Nor did the breakfast bill. The breakfast was included in the rate along with $25 F&B credit, but the absence of the charges was curious. Only one clerk on duty at checkout. Also very strange, the Hotel instituted rigorous security to keep people from partying in rooms--and we had to sign our acceptance of these rules. Elevators shut down, only two guests in addition to those reserving the room (and $30 fee for this). All very strange for what used to be a top hotel. Simply not so any longer.
