We ate at the bar for quicker service. It would have been a 15min wait, but we were meeting friends, so we wanted to be in and out. Also, we weren't really prepared for a nice meal at a candlelit table, so this was just fine. (We were misleaded by the CAFE in the name).
We ordered a Ziti with Hot and Sweet Sausage and Penne and Vodka. (from Rio webiste; official website does not have updated menus). Both were very good with big portions. We also had a side of bread with some dips that were interesting. There was the usual olive oil, but there was also a spicy dip, kind of like chinese spicy hot sauce (weird, not really my kind of dip). The service was spot on... the bartender would refill our water glasses when needed and checked on us periodically.
On a side note, Steve Martorano looks like a UFC fighter that just happens to own this restaurant. I'm not sure i'd trust him as a chef. Oh, and the prices were higher than i would have expected, but then it's vegas
