1/28 UPDATE:
I've never been terribly impressed with this place, but the last time I came here I was especially unimpressed. I got a matcha latte with boba and they failed to mix the powder into the milk tea properly, which resulted in visible granules of powdered flavorings that you could taste/feel when you drank it (see photos). Hopefully it was just a fluke.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Best bubble tea shop in Pittsburgh, which sadly isn't that much of an honor since Pittsburgh doesn't really have the greatest boba scene. It's enough to hold me over between my monthly trips to California, but still -- you'll be disappointed if you're used to California- or NYC-level bubble tea.
Good selection of flavors, lots of topping options, chewy and flavorful (but probably overly sweet) tapioca pearls, and the only place in Pittsburgh I'm aware of that lets you adjust the sweetness level of your drink. Not a fan of the fact that they use plastic cups with lids instead of sealed plastic cups though.
