| - This review is primarily for the spa, located upstairs, right in front from the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, the Spa and Salon at Bellagio is quite beautiful...Your experience starts as you enter the downstairs salon and take elevator upstairs to check in for your spa service. The staff are very professional, asking about service and pushing the elevator up and down button as needed.
The spa has been open since 1998 and while I am sure they go through the renovations periodically, it only shows in a few places. The lockers are outdated, and the layout is cumbersome...to get to the treatment room for your service, the attendant must escort you from the tranquility area to the waiting area where you meet your service provider...which seems to me quite a walk on hard floor. Once you are in the treatment area, it is already set with a lovely mood and is well manicured in every place your eyes meet.
I received Ashiatsu and it was exactly what I needed and more. The therapists are always really good. Additionally, the attendants were attentive and kind as you would expect them to be, with robe and slippers that are well fitted and soft. They also offer coffee, tea, bottled water, and dry snacks.
The spa at the Bellagio offers a couple of treatments that you can get only here: Watsu Massage and Aquastretch.
Not the best in town, but a pleasant paradise none-the-less.
