Paris is a nice hotel. It's a shame they have such a lame club! Other than the female staffers dressed up as sexy french maids, Chateau was a real disappointment.
There are three Vegas rules about club admission that I go by. There are rare moments when a club will abide by all three, but in general, ladies should never have to (1) pay cover to get in, (2) wait more than 20 minutes in a line, and (3) pay for drinks until after midnight. Whack. whack. whack.
(1) $5 cover for each of us (2 girls). It's not a lot, but considering the music they were playing... I would have had more fun buying 5 really good songs on iTunes and playing them in my room. The DJ was trying... but didn't know how to mix the old school with the top 40s very well. It was just awkward.
(2) There was a line so I hustled my way up to the VIP and asked them if I had to wait in line. Nice bouncer let us in without the wait.
(3) No perks for the ladies. I guess they didn't want us to get drunk...
If Chateau was a first date, he'd never get another chance -- doesn't really know how to treat a lady.
The dance floor is super small. Unless you get bottle service here, don't think about getting low. Once you get low, you'll never make it back up without ramming your face into someone's crotch. For some, that might be just what you want when you're in vegas... but I'll pass.
We left at 12:30am. Yup. Ridiculous right? On our way out, we saw a group of girls that were waiting in line to celebrate a bachelorette party. Honestly, I felt bad for them. I hope they got some good service at least because everything else was just whack.
