  • Golden Nails is probably the nicest nail salon in the Kent / Stow area. I tried to call ahead of time to make an appointment for my friend and I, but the store is walk-ins only. I got to the salon a few minutes before my friend did and tried to sign us both in, but they wouldn't let me put her name on the wait list even though she would be there soon. This is the reason I'm giving the salon four stars instead of five. Overall the salon was very clean, and I saw each of the nail technicians scrubbing their station with bleach after each customer, which was reassuring. They also have a very large selection of nail polish colors - this was probably the most colors I've ever seen in one place. My nail technician was very friendly, and I chatted with her while she painted my nails. I got a raspberry shellack color, and am very satisfied with the way it turned out. The entire manicure probably took about 15 minutes, so it was really quick. The total was $35, which wasn't super cheap, but I've also paid more for a manicure before. I don't get manicures often, but next time I do i'll go back to Golden Nails.
