  • Oh Nielson's...how I love your creamy ways! As I sit here divulging in my first pumpkin custard of the season I am brought to a place of sheer frozen custard delight!!! (Which means I'm dancing in my seat). It doesn't take much of this sweet creamy treat to satisfy my sweet tooth either. When my gal pals come into town this is one of their musts! My only complaint is when I go the sundae route that the peanut topping is too salty for me, but I'm one of those weirdos who doesn't add salt to her food-even when I cook...if you're like me I suggest the almonds as an alternative. Other than that everything is amazingly delicious...according to your normal topping (dis)likes. I usually will always order their flavor of the day but occasionally I crave the Oreo concrete or sundae with caramel, strawberries, and almonds topped with a delicious cherry! The staff is young, but they are helpful and friendly. The ambience and decor brings you back in time, and I love having date night dessert here with the hubby. Bottom line: worth every calorie I have to run off the next day!
