  • Tried to grab dinner on a week night while staying at the JW earlier in the evening. No one was waiting in line. Only 2 people at the sushi bar (probably seats at least 15). Hostess told me that it was a 15-20 minute wait for 2 people. Asked if we could sit at the sushi bar. She said it would still be a 15-20 min wait because she was trying to allow "her servers to catch up". Never had that experience before at a nicer restaurant. Appreciate the honesty, but getting sat down with a drink and knowing that we would be waiting for food would have been much better than being told we couldn't be seated for 15-20 minutes despite so many empty seats.
