  • I have to be honest. I've had Brazilian Blowouts done by stylists in the Bay Area before moving to Vegas and they always lasted 10 to 12 weeks easy. I went to Katie last year and even though she was super sweet I could tell she didn't have much experience with Blowouts due to her technique. She seemed extremely apprehensive, almost like she was too scared to really get in there to do adequate smoothing. Needless to say my blowout lasted less than a day. My hair frizzed after working out the next day. I had a feeling something wasn't right because this was not my first blowout and seasoned stylists know how to get closer to the root as well as smoothing your hair with firm blow drying and straightening iron techniques. When I left her salon my hair still had texture and wasn't smooth. If you've ever had your hair done professionally by a seasoned hair stylist that understands hair and does a lot of Blowouts you can tell the difference. It's night and day. I feel she needs more training because her results should last minimum of 10 weeks not days.
