The SLS used to be the famous Sahara hotel, but they completely remodeled it and took any traces of the old Sahara out. Which was then outdated, now is remodeled to look modern and appeals to a younger crowd. Don't be mistaken though, there are plenty of older folks in the area!
There is a great variety of restaurants in here, and the location is good if you have a car. If not; then I would recommend taking a taxi or Uber/Lyft. The corner beyond Bonanza's Gift Shop is not the safest place to be walking around, and once you walk around you will see what I am talking about.
The rooms inside the SLS are well designed. I am a fan of them, and with the hotel being remodeled, there is a "new" and modern feel to it.
On the corner right next to SLS is a conveniently located dispensary. For you folks who like to relax a little, don't forget that greens are legal for recreational use in Las Vegas now!!!
