I have not been to the dentist in years and naturally I'm am terrified of the whole experience. So my sister recommended this great dentist named Dr. Shapiro.
I'll just get down to the nitty gritty. The receptionist that I delt with was very unprofessional and rude. I don't know her name but I so know she's black and heavy set with a short hair cut with blonde on top and wears pink rimmed seeing eye glasses. When I walked in I told her who I was and blah blah blah she said what am I here for? I told her that I was a walk in and that I don't have an appointment and the she says, "well everyone's a walk in." Okay first of all that's rude of her to say because even me not working there I know that not everyone is a walk in so she could have kept that smart ass comment to herself. Now I'm caught off guard by her rudeness and I say, "well I wanted to make an appointment...." And she cuts me off and says, " so now you want to make an appointment? You doin' too much." The she proceeds to turn her back on me to get forms that she should have just given me in the first place and missed me with all the extra bullshit. Then she asks for my I.d. and insurance card after she sees that I didn't like her little comments and says out loud my place of employment and asked me which one I worked at. At the point I am floored and horrified. I'm trying to keep my composure, so I lied and told her a different location and then she sucks her teeth and says that there are no cute guys at that location. TRIF!!
Now everyone knows what company I work for... No privacy.
Dr. Shapiro was great and I didn't get any work don't that day and I won't be returning. My tooth has stopped hurting now so I'll wait until the next shooting pain.
