I didn't get to see the whole museum when I visited last week. However, I just wanted to encourage people to go see the Blue Whale exhibit that is currently there right now. You get to see the behind the scenes story of how 9 blue whales washed ashore in Canada. Two were taken in to be researched. One of the skeletons is on view for everyone to see in the exhibit. I don't think I've ever seen something that big in my life. Also, on view is the heart of one of the whales. It's got to be as big as the smart car that is also on view (randomly) in the exhibit. Sprinkled throughout are all sorts of videos, facts, etc. about the animal. This was one of the coolest things I've seen. (I love blue whales in case you haven't noticed.) I hope that this inspires people to protect our oceans and maybe convince a kid or two to become a marine biologist.
