  • While visiting family in the Henderson area we were looking for a late night dinner spot. Italian sounded good, but we wanted to avoid the chains in the area. The in-laws had heard of a local place with a good reputation but couldn't remember the name. A quick search on Yelp narrowed our search down to Buon Gusto. It was the perfect find! They have a small dining area and take out service. We opted for dine-in. A little cramped for our party of 5 but the atmosphere is pleasant and service was friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. The sauces have a great homemade taste and the pasta was cooked very well. My salad was super fresh and crisp and the house dressing - balsamic vinaigrette -- was lovely. The star of the table was the Chef Cisco Style Eggplant entree. A must try. Sliced eggplant tossed in a marinara rosemary sauce, smothered in cheese and baked. So amazingly tasty. The other dishes were very good as well. The one disappointment was the wine by the glass selection. Very limited and what they had was not good quality. Overall I highly recommend a visit to Buon Gusto.
