  • Absolutely the worst car buying experience anyone can ever imagine. 1st off we are from Odessa,Tx, 800 miles away, and we were looking for the exact Tahoe they had. I spoke with Will over the phone and explained to him in DETAIL my sister was doing her own financing and her bank would be faxing over a DRAFTING INSTRUCTIONS which is what 99% of credit unions do. He then said it would be $1000 more for since shes going through her own bank and we agreed. We did NOT negotiate on the price at all! Both me and the loan officer spoke directly with them and explained the process and everything was still good according to him. So she signs at the bank and the bank the faxes them the drafting instructions. My sister then books a flight then flies in on 8/15/16 at 10am and they pick her up to take her to the dealership. Once she arrives they ask her where the "check" is because they haven't received any "funds" from the bank??? None of this was ever mentioned in the 10 conversations we had prior to flying over there, they agreed that drafting instructions was good and they'd release the vehicle. The so called "GM" EJ then comes to talk to my sister and instead of being somewhat "professional" or trying to figure out where the miscommunication was he says "its not an advantage to me to sell this vehicle today, tomorrow, or in a week... your not giving me any money and I don't have the funds, I cant give you the car" then he turns around and walks away. Instead of trying to figure out why she was there without a "check" or "funds" with Will ,the salesman, he starts bashing my sister. We did everything by the book, we explained what we were doing with our bank and what the bank was going to do to pay them. 3 hours later they tell her that there has to be a "back up contract" in case her bank doesn't pay them. They also call her bank and tell the bank manager that they "don't see how she got a loan on a $40000 vehicle and that she was 60 days late on her current auto loan".!!?? Really?? She wasn't even late, she had 1 late payment and that was it. Well this "back up contract" happened to be approved by the SAME bank "they say" she was 60 days late on.!! Go figure! 6 hours later they finally decide to let her leave in the car after speaking with our bank multiple times and the banker having to pull strings to wire them their money without a title or registration form. We did absolutely nothing wrong and explained EVERYTHING IN DETAIL to them before she flew there and were treated horribly. 1) If any of your customers are flying or driving 800 miles or anything over 15 miles MAKE SURE YOU EXPLAIN YOUR ENTIRE SALES PROCESS IF SOMEONE IS USING THEIR OWN BANK AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALLLLLLL DOCUMENTS YOU NEED BEFORE THE CUSTOMER GETS ON THAT PLANE!!! 2) As a GM of a store EJ, your job is to INVESTIGATE where the deal went wrong instead of bashing a customer that just flew in 800 miles to buy a car from you. Your suppose to treat your customers with some respect especially ones flying 800 miles to buy from you!
