| - A group of us came here for the Sunday night of Pride since everywhere else had massive lineups, and the patio overlooking Church St. was a bonus. Due to the smaller capacity of this spot, the line did move relatively slow, but it wasn't as long as other spots nearby (Woody's was down the street and around the corner!). Once we were in there though -- it was a really good vibe! We realized immediately that there was a line to get onto the patio so we grabbed drinks and jumped into it right away. You have to be strategic about these kind of things! The bartenders were hot, extremely friendly, and since we were all industry people, we treated them nicely. One of them (who may or may not have been on of the owners) let me keep my massive purse behind the bar without taking money. I'm a bartender too so I realize how annoying it is when someone asks you to store something for them -- so I really appreciated that. Once my group and I were almost at the beginning of the line to get outside, people started crowding around us, trying to squeeze and sneak their way in ahead of us. I took it into my own hands to speak to the security man keeping the line and capacity, and told him we have been waiting in line, we were next to go outside, and that all the people coming in beside us weren't waiting. He immediately started telling those people to get in line, which I appreciated -- I tried to give him some money just to show my appreciation and he wouldn't take it.
Once the group got outside, we were promptly served by an amazing server, who didn't need to write our large order down. Even though it was around 3:30am by the time we all got out there, the music was good, and we made friends with everyone around us.
Overall, if I was in the area, I would definitely come here again. It's a beautiful patio, and you can people watch like crazy. Thank you to the owners (the pretty lady who was mainly at the front door -- you're awesome!) and the one behind the bar. The guys running security -- you have a long, annoying day of people complaining and yelling so we appreciate all the hard work and resilience! Bartenders and servers-- once again, they're all hot and have tons of energy. Just super friendly and good at what they do. Respect!
Thank you to all the staff for a great night!! xoxoxo
