  • I'm a new transplant to Vegas from Los Angeles, and so my first thought was (of course), ohgodineedahaircut. I knew very few people in town, but one of them recommended I go here. I was dubious, as the girl in question had short, straight hair, and I have a Jewfro of epic proportions which has been baffling stylists for years, but I made my appointment anyway. Enter Hayden Harker, stylist and dresser superhero. He massaged my scalp and neck as he washed my hair. He cut my hair EXACTLY as I asked him to, and I was VERY specific about how I wanted my bangs, the length, the layers that needed to pull back into a ponytail, etcetera. Where most hairdressers cannot layer my curly, thick headshrubbery, he handled it with aplomb. He also can carry on intelligent conversation on a number of topics (not just celebrities), which was not necessary, but a plus. The decor inside is quite nice-- creative and calming. Everything smells fresh (not Glade, and not cleaning supplies) and there's a very cool rain fountain to watch while you wait. I've never been happier with my hair. It can handle a number of styles and looks great in each. I didn't try any other services because I'm brizzoke, but all I need is Hayden, really.
