| - Normally I would never go through the trouble of creating a page on yelp for a business when one doesn't already exist, but I really feel the need to warn any potential clients of this place.
This place is a giant waiting room. The first time I came, it took me five hours to get an annual physical. I had an appointment, showed up on time, and still had to wait in the waiting room for an hour. After I was finally called in and had the basic information (blood pressure, weight) taken by the nurse, I was shown another place to sit down and wait. Then, I saw another person briefly, and was shown yet another place to sit down and wait. Most of my physical was spent waiting for the next person to come and do something to me. The place had closed and I was still there, waiting.. Waiting... And then they ran out of time and I had to come back the next day. The entire time, the staff - nurse assistants, nurses, physicians assistant - showed minimal professionalism, minimal empathy.. It did not seem like they care about your time. In the brief time (minutes) that the actual physician assistant spent with me, he did not talk to me, but merely gossiped with the nursing assistant with not even a gram of eye contact made with me. I am studying to be in the medical field as well, so I can understand that physicians are busy and I really did not have high expectations - I just wanted a physical, but this was the most dehumanizing place I've ever been to. I must have "COPAY" written on my forehead.
As for the rest of the facility, the restrooms are poorly managed, the furniture is stained and chipped, and it lacks comfort. I've had my blood drawn here and the nurse that did that could not find my vein on either arm..she stirred the needle around and around in my arm like she was making macaroni.
Now I am here on my third visit, waiting again. I waited two hours to get a referral slip from the physician for a blood test at Quest. Two hours. For a piece of paper. Which by the way they had to google what the blood test was because they had no clue what it was.
My advice to future potential patients.. Please have some self respect for yourself and keep looking for a different place. You are worth more than how these incompetent, careless people will treat you.
