  • This Woodman's Food Market (1099 S Grand Ave, Sun Prairie, WI 53590) is very clean and the people are super friendly and helpful. The layout of the store is very similar to all Woodman's, which is nice to find the items you need. Largest section of brand names and generic products in Madison by far. Nice deli section, but small, compared to other grocery stores that have a large porton of the store as s deli...most too big for my taste. Excellent produce, meats, and frozen selections. Plenty of organic products. Has large liquor store with excellent selection of beers, wines, and spirits. Large islands with plenty of room. Kept very well stocked all the time. Plenty of bathrooms, including family bathrooms. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Prices are the best in Madison due to their size and buying power. Has plenty of full service registers and many self service registers which is fantastic. During certain days and times lines can be long but they will open more registers as needed and available...when you are this popular of a store this is unavoidable. Full service register employees are well trained and very fast so lines might exist sometimes but are very fast. Nice baggers too. Have self checkout registers which is great. No credit cards accepted. Has cash only gas station with good prices. Overall excellent place to shop. Highly recommend this location.
