  • While it will always be Scorcher's in my heart, it's Pacer's now. It's not the kind of place you take a date to. It's not somewhere you set out to go to; it's more a place you end up. That being said, accept this place for what it is; a good, solid dive bar with a good beer list and plenty of opportunity for people-watching. The food is hit-or-miss, and nothing to write home about. They run specials, like $1 taco night, and there's always a $3 tall draft.
