I had to check this place out since it's located right in between my work and home. I think it's a pretty convienent location right off the 101 on Bell and 59th Ave. First thing I noticed about this place was how big it was. I like bars that have some space. Nothing more I hate than a tiny cramped little bar. This place also has a pretty big patio in addition to their indoor seating area. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Service and food were pretty average. Prices weren't very good either. I ordered the mac and cheese and it was $11 and the portion was tiny. It was pretty tasty but nothing like the Rock Bottom Mac n' Chicken.
Still, this place does have a lot going for it. I like that there is a "theme" night every night with something going on. We came on Wednesday when it was trivia night. I like how the trivia is "pop in" trivia meaning that you can pop in at any time and play a few rounds- you don't have to be there from start to finish. The host was very friendly and repeated the questions as needed. There are even prizes given. I have looked for pub trivia all over the North Phoenix area and it looks like I finally found it (in Glendald technically.). I want to come back here for Saturday's "Name that Tune." Looks like Saturday is also Ladies Night. Also, they have karaoke on Thursdays which may be another reason to come back. I do suggest they fix their food and drink prices or else I will be eating at Pollo Loco beforehand and drink water when I'm there.
