| - Wow, only $5.95 for a dish?! I was so surprised when I saw the menu here as there were plenty of options, all at the same price! Except for the drinks, which are priced higher.
It was quite busy for a Friday night, and we were lucky that there was no line-up when we arrived as I heard it's usually crowded by the door. The hostess came and showed us to our table on the second floor, where I felt like it was not as roomy. We sat in a small booth by the stairs, and we were given a clipboard with the food and drinks menu. They have a decent variety of food here. We ordered the nachos and quesadillas with marinated chicken since they're popular dishes.
Nachos were decent - the portions were bigger than expected as it's normally for one person, but I felt like you could easily share it with one or two people. I loved the quesadillas! They were delicious, and a tad spicy due to the jalapenos. If I come back here, I'd get these again for sure.
This isn't the type of place to go for a bite when you're really hungry, as it took over twenty minutes for our food to arrive. However, it's a great place to chill and talk with friends after work or class. I agree with another reviewer that the music is really loud. After we left, my voice was hoarse as I had to shout a lot over the music.
For two dishes plus a drink, the bill came up to ~$27 after tax and tip. Not bad! A good deal for what you get. It's definitely an inexpensive option for students.
