Had a late dinner here on Sunday. We were looking for a reasonably priced dinner option and this place looked promising. Had a bit of a wait (20 mins) before being seated. I was impressed with the wait system, they text you when your table is ready which allows you to wander the grande canal shoppes while you wait.
We were seated and our orders taken quickly. Nice warm bread served with EVOO and balsamic to start. Shared a caprese salad to start. Definitely a shareable portion. Buffalo Mozzarella was creamy. Tomatoes were a bit mealy.
I had the spaghetti puttanesca. Yum. Lots of good things like capers and olives. It had anchovies but they weren't overpowering. My mom ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs are their specialty and it showed. They were juicy and flavorful. Portion sizes are generous. Both of us had trouble finishing our mains.
Not super cheap -- dinner for 2 without wine and only one app was $80. But overall a solid dining experience. If I was craving home style Italian I'd go again.
