We've been waiting a long time for a place to buy good meat. This is a great place for both common and uncommon cuts. The free range chickens are among the best we've had. The chicken breasts had great texture and were trimmed nicely. We had some calves liver that is probably the best we've had not only because of the quality but because it was cut superbly. The veal shank for osso buco is really not available elsewhere. Even the jerky was made from high quality meat and was not stringy. The only thing we don't like are the tamales which had poorly flavored masa and meat with little body. But I am an amateur chef and very particular about the quality of my ingredients. And I still have not found any place with good tamales.
