Normally I'm a huge fan of the knowledgeable staff and fresh logically sourced products..after the last two visits this was not the case. Most staff couldn't or wouldn't answer questions about fresh fruit and veggies. Like what companies they get them from or weither or not they were grown in the US.
The meat department wasn't that better.. Asking basic questions about the chicken or fish other then having them point to where it was on the label was taken as if I was giving the product s.a.t.s. I understand everyone has a hard day. However, I ask questions for an important reason..I'm feeding my family and often sharing what I have with the homeless. Also my Sisters family (she has a toddler) and my friends ( many whom have special needs children). I can't risk that I would unknowingly get someone sick.
At first I thought I was asking too much..until I went to another store, and not only was I given the friendly service I had enjoyed, they were willing to answer my questions or find someone who could.
All and all sorry Sprouts till you step up your game, I can't afford to shop at a place that is knowledgeable about the products they sell.
