  • Pooja is unbelievably talented! I recently got married in March in Arizona and only living here 3 years, I was not familiar with many wedding vendors in the area. I looked online for makeup and hair artists experienced in Southeast asian skin and hair and had a tough time finding people with this expertise in Phoenix. During my hunt for a makeup artist, I even traveled to LA to try to find someone. I had 4 trials there and was not "wowed" by anyone. My wedding planner gave me the info for Pooja Mehta and I looked her up online and was instantly amazed! I loved her work immediately. I went for a hair and makeup trial and couldn't believe how beautiful she made me look. Her personality is also very fun and easy to get along with. I am extremely anal and even though I loved her work, I wanted to meet with her a few times more before the wedding to go over each event since it was an American/Indian fusion wedding and Pooja was completely fine with that!. On the actual day, I used Pooja for 5 different events and it was unbelievable how quickly and calmly she worked. She made me look different for each event and I felt so beautiful!!! I also had her team do my mom, mother in law, 3 sister in laws hair and makeup and each one of them looked like models! I couldn't believe that I went all the way to LA and was not satisfied at all, when Pooja was in Scottsdale all along! I am so incredibly happy that I went with her and would do it all over again! Pooja is extremely talented and I recommend her for anyone! She was able to bring each person's beauty out in their own way and is very experienced with all skin types and colors. I def will be using her again for any other events I have!
