| - So I have been here twice in as many months, my gf dad, loves this place...I think it is OK. I liken it to an overpriced red lobster.
The service is ok. And this place is always busy, so you can expect a few hiccups with service being slow, or your waiter forgetting something simple like bread or silverware or water.
They are trained well, but I think are often overwhelmed, often times you have to ask someone to come remove plates to make room for new stuff, once again if they were not so busy or had a few dedicated bussers, I don't think this would be an issue. But alas it is.
Food, the food is just OK, I know people that rave over it, I just don find it that appealing, I am a huge fan of gumbo, so the last time I was here, I ordered the shrimp gumbo, only to end up almost cracking my tooth on a piece of bone from god knows what was in my gumbo. It might have even been a piece of the bowl as far as I know...
This last time similar experience got the rainbow trout and shrimp, Loaded with butter almost drowned it, and bones thru out...does not make for a good dining experience. This place is ok, but for the prices I would expect more attention to be placed to small details. Will go here if invited but have experienced better seafood places throughout the valley. And if I had to choose I would go there instead.
