  • 3.5 stars This review is just for the casino, as I have not stayed at the hotel. This a good locals casino located in North Las Vegas. The casino is not too smokey(it is a casino, after all) the staff I have encountered are almost always friendly and helpful. Only the bartenders at the bar in the center of the casino are shakey. Some days they are good, but other days seem indifferent and slow to acknowledge you (and thats still after tipping???I dont get it). Drink service is pretty good on the casino floor(as long as you tip, of course) Race and Sports Book has an awkward setup and is made for race bettors, not a great place to try and watch the game, but good just to get your bets in and watch elsewhere. I frequent the movie theater they have on the west end of the casino. Very clean, full service movie theater. The buffet is average at best. If you dont catch a screaming deal on it, than go hit a stations casino buffet. I do, however, love the Victory Cafe. If you can catch it when its not busy its good solid food at a very affordable price. All in all, this is one of the better off strip local spots.
