We've owned Toyota automobiles for years, with three in the family purchased from this dealer. Service has always been an adventure.
Occasionally, you'll find prompt and friendly service, reasonably priced. Even giving you surprise discounts. At other times, virtually all of our most recent visits, you'll face the results of an inspection you did not request. A long list of suggested overpriced, mostly unnecessary, repairs. Especially if the driver is a woman. My wife's treatment on a recent visit was inexcusable. There must be some kind of quota/incentive system that is encouraging this kind of behavior.
Toyota as a whole has never had a good service reputation, which didn't matter when their cars were superior to most others in reliability. Now that Toyota quality has slipped, and other brands have improved, it's time for their service bays to rethink strategy.
