Ah. Ava's Alley.
Some place I have heard of for the past 10 years. Been close enough to touch the building...but never entered. Then I started dating Ray. Mr. Anti-Douche who loves a local bar. I remember we had first started dating and he says "Let's visit Ava...". Insert my thought "Ava is for real? Is this kid serious?".
Thinking-what the hell why not-we go. Like Roxanne. You enter and are greeted by this larger than life person that could easily be in a movie or tv show. Ava. True that if you are not a regular you might not be greeted all warm and fuzzy like. But it doesn't matter. I don't think that's her style anyways.
We have been in during the day and evening. No matter who is working-they are always awesome. Grab some popcorn and a stool...oh and a beer. There is a fresh dinner special served daily. And if you want to spice it up there are dart boards and the juke. So don't be afraid of the regulars...or Ava. Go have fun.
