  • This is my first time staying at a Hyatt hotel and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed. I am in town on a business trip and the company I was visiting recommended I stay at this hotel and I must say that I could not be more pleased. When I first arrived at the airport I called the hotel and asked if they offered a shuttle service to bring me to the hotel and they did. During my stay I continued to use this service as they offer to both take and pick you up from any location within 5 miles (great perk). This completely eliminated the need for my using a taxi for my entire business trip as I had a little time venture out. Across the street from the hotel is a plethora of restaurants (including Ditkas) which are within walking distance which I would gladly walk to but since it was cold I simply used the shuttle service. The rooms were fairly spacious with a writing desk, wifi, couch area, king size bed, coffee bar and flatscreen television with your basic popular channels . Every morning I received a Wall Street Journal at my door and a complimentary continental breakfast was served in the lobby. The staff at the hotel was very inviting and down-to-earth. They never made it feel like you were bothering them with requests and seemed more than happy to help. Now I don't expect every Hyatt to be like this one but if they are then they definitely have made my list of choice hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are coming to Pittsburgh and looking for a hotel in this area.
