| - Not a bad place to stay if you want to stay in the heart of Toronto. We got a deal through priceline at 246 for two nights. The hotel is HUGE and in walking distance of anything you might want to do in Toronto. Everyone we dealt with that worked at the hotel were extremely accommodating. The first concierge was amazing and welcoming.
One of the biggest downsides to this hotel was paying 60 dollars to park here. While you have to park ANYWHERE in Toronto, it's absolutely insane to be charged 30/night to park where you are staying. Good thing we weren't there for 7 days--270 dollars to park at a hotel would have been enough to make us not stay there. As others have said, make sure you check in before paying to park at the booth in the garage. Luckily we pulled into the driveway of the hotel and saw the sign telling us to check-in before parking. What was somewhat offputting was the sign stating someone not staying at the hotel could pay a flat rate of 15/day while we were paying 30/day.
The room was somewhat narrow, but modernized. We asked for a view of the CN tower but got a view of some parking lots and a building being constructed. The bed was comfortable and huge. The shower had great pressure for a hotel shower. On the description of the room, it said "spa inspired" bath tub. It was just a regular old bathtub. We were totally not given enough towels. When leaving the room in the morning, we expected to return to a made bed with more towels--neither of which were done. I've never been to a hotel where there was no housekeeping done. The walls are paper thin, and both nights we were woken up by extremely loud, drunk patrons. At one point, my boyfriend got up to see what all of the noise was about--people were standing in front of our door talking. They saw him, he closed the door, and they proceeded to knock on the door. We would have called the front desk if it wasn't 6am and we weren't completely confused by what just happened.
I'm not sure if I'd stay here again, but it was a good place to rest our heads within walking distance of the attractions of Toronto
