| - Wow. So I heard about this gym from a few people, so waited and got the groupon to give it a try! Its great! The workouts (so far) have been circuits, do X movement for X amount of time and then move on to the next movement and the next and the next etc etc etc and do it X rounds oh and do something in between each round like running the block or in-out jumping squats. And every movement is demonstrated for every level, from advanced to beginner, with several modifications and variations.
The group of people that go, are nice, but they aren't overly nice (think smiles & head nod acknowledgements/ not hugs), seems everyone comes in, works out to their hardest ability, and goes home with no real judgement of anyone else. More or less because you are breathing and sweating too much to care what anyone else is doing and only focus on yourself.
The instructors are awesome. They are peppy enough to keep you motivated, available to help with a modification or ask about form on a movement, but aren't in your face drill instructors yelling and belittling you if you need to rest for 2 seconds.
And I see other reviews say it is expensive! No way! The 10-class pass right now goes for $120 -- that's $12 a class!!! Amazing! Hard pressed to find a class that gives you this much satisfaction afterwards for only $12 in Scottsdale (Orangetheory, for example, is $18 a class!).
