I've been a member of so many clubs in Toronto - trying to find the perfect gym that is inviting, professional, diverse, and not too crowded. This is it. As a full-time professional in the university and Dundas st area, it's not too close but the walk and occasional ttc is worth it. The sports medicine is perfect for my pre-existing conditions and have had physiotherapy to help. I liked the personal training on the Pilates reformer and the work outs were fantastic. I love working out and seeing the gorgeous views, and the overall executive and non-judgemental atmosphere to the place - everyone is focused on their thing, the trainers are highly respectful to all members, the change rooms are spectacular like a hotel with maid service, and there's a lap pool above plus several courts of professional size that has been host to competitions. This place is not a "meat-market" and the higher costs and initiation fees ensure that members are serious and can pay. Stratus is wonderful and I've enjoyed bringing friends and family there for lunch on many occasions. Again a spectacular view and it's also available for private functions. As owners of the Cambridge group of clubs, Adelaide is also theirs and available to TAC members. If you are looking for a special place to work out with many things to offer, this is it. Highly recommend!
