  • You won't find any tonkatsu more authentic than this little shop. If you have ever experience tonkatsu in Japan, come here to reminisce. Meredith (the owner) is doing a great job! The tonkatsu is light, juicy, and flavorful. Mix your own sesame/Katsu sauce, put the spicy mustard in for a unique flavor unlike any Katsu sauce out there. The Hire-Katsu meal is perfect for lunch. Paired with either iced matcha(green tea) or oolong(barley) tea, the meal as a whole is so refreshing and not overwhelmingly filling. And! They have Asahi "black"! Which I first tried in Japan for an alternative to Guinness. Since then I've never been able to find it. Will have to come back for dinner. I'll be back for sure. ????????? (Subarash? oish?) (amazingly delicious)
