  • I really liked this the first couple times I went. Perhaps there was a novelty factor. The atmosphere is nice, cosy and the food is really delicious. If you want to go to a hip(ster) place for drinks and a few small dishes, Imanishi is great for that. However, the portions are too small for the price. My boyfriend and I both thought the portions decreased slightly in size over the past year, and we agreed that you can find better Japanese izakaya-style food, value-wise, in Toronto.
