To put it succinctly, Classic Italian Pizza is like a hybrid of New York style pizza and the pizza napoletana style of Cibo and Bianco. It is quite good--better than most other local pizzerias I've tasted.
If you are someone who has always eaten pan / NY / Chicago style pizzas and want something more authentic, this is a good place to start. BUT, if you do like this place, then I suggest you try the all-the-way-authentic pizzas at places like Cibo or Bianco.
