Went on a late Sunday morning with my husband, my son and a friend of his that had spent the night. The drive thru was packed but the dining room was busy but not slammed.
The boys each wanted a glazed since they didn't have chocolate Long Johns, with my husband getting a chocolate cake donut. I ordered a large iced caramel coffee with cream and sugar. 2 drinks from the beverage case.
Donuts were just ok! On the small size but appeared to be semi fresh. Coffee was good but overly sweet. There was about a half inch of sugar in the bottom of my cup. Still was a good cup of coffee.
Service was good with everyone smiling and pleasant, order taker efficient.
We felt we got what we paid for and would have been a 4 star visit. My problem wasn't in the food, beverage or service but with another customer. A older women sitting behind us had Pandora on her cell phone playing extremely loud hip hop music. My husband looked over and she said, "oh is it too loud for you?", but she made no attempt to turn it down to a more reasonable volume. Not everyone enjoys that type of crap, sorry music. It made our experience uncomfortable because we never knew what expletive was going to be said next. We had 2 young elementary age boys and the manager did nothing. The boys quickly ate their donuts and we left.
What should have been a enjoyable Sunday morning turned into a hurried, stressful visit. Will we visit this location again? More than likely but we will probably get it to go next time.
