  • My friend was late, and I was killing time so I ventured into this pop-up shop. In the back of my head I was looking for "that" dress/outfit. You know the one, it turns heads and garners compliments. I found "that" dress the moment I walked in the store. It sang to me from the sale rack of all places. Knowing I had to dress to impress at the elite event, it seemed like the perfect new piece for my wardrobe. Not only was the dress ridiculously affordable, it was coupled with a buy one sweater get one half off sale. I scoured the store and found a few sweaters that also seemed cheap and lovely. Here's the deal, I'm not a cheapskate by any stretch of the imagination, but I am once again a starving student, and the prices one normally sees at Preloved, are a bit out of my price range. Even though I wasn't filling the stores daily quota, the staff treated me as though I was, offering me their Preloved opinions and making me feel like I was Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (after he flashes the cash obviously). Bottom line...the remade gems in this store are keepers, and fill some of the must have positions in my wardrobe!
