  • EBar is an espresso/coffee bar located at Nordstram Eaton Centre and features coffee/espresso-based beverages and baked pastry. The offerings are very similar to Starbucks menu, including drink sizes. I visited on a Saturday around 12.30 pm and there were 5 people ahead of me to order. There were 8 people behind the counter including 2 baristas. It took 15 minutes to get my latte from the time I entered the line. I recognize that this is a new operation so I can cut some slack, but I found that production line was chaotic and disorganized. Furthermore, I observed one staff person removing the pump mechanism of an empty syrup bottle, tapping the pump on the garbage can and put it in the new syrup bottle washing it - not the hygienic thing to do. My latte was fine - the right amount of foam and the espresso was not bitter. I appreciate they serve the beverage with a lid on so you can prevent the chances of spilling. They do have a reasonable variety of baked products but I can't comment, as I didn't consume any. I also like the fact that they have a seating area so you can people watch and watch the world go by.
