I have actually joined yelp just so I could review this clinic. My 12 year old son had been having severe abdominal pain for 2 days and we knew at 5:30 am this morning that we needed to see someone. I looked on yelp for reviews of places and was very distressed to read all the negative things about this clinic. But it was going to be open at 8 and was about 10 minutes from my house so I decided to roll the dice and go.
They opened up on the nose at 8, I was greeted by a very friendly front desk young woman named I believe, Alicia, who was kind and efficient taking details and payment. We were seen after about a 15 minute wait by a lovely male nurse who took my son's vitals, asked questions about what was going on and was very understanding and patient, especially when I explained that he was fairly high strung and would turn into Woody Allan if too many medical options were given in front of him.
We then saw a PA-C who's name I unfortunately can not remember. I want to say Todd but could be completely wrong. He examined my son, asked me thorough questions about his symptoms and knew within minutes that we should get a CAT scan. I was going to go to an imagining center that they arranged for me but while waiting for the appointment to be confirmed my son was getting worse. Todd kindly but firmly suggested that going to the ER would be a wise move. They called the ER to let them know I was coming and my son was whisked right into Pediatric ER. It is now almost 9 PM and my son is in bed minus his appendix.
Whilst in the ER I received a call from the clinic following up to see how my son was doing.
I think they are just wonderful and would not hesitate to use them again. Please don't let negative reviews from people that I am sure complain about the sun not rising and setting fast enough dissuade you from using this clinic.
