  • Fox and Hound has better-than-average bar food and a better-than-average beer selection. The service is efficient and friendly; the high turnover suggests it is not an easy place to work, but that probably goes with the territory. Being in Birkdale, on weekends it can be hard to find a place to park. It is usually crowded, and that contributes to a good vibe. There are enough televisions to be able to catch whatever sporting event one is looking for.
